Alcohol Strategies
Awareness Campaign
The DFC program aims to reduce underage drinking by reducing social access to alcohol. Youth report getting most of their alcohol from an older friend or relative, even a parent. The following are strategies implemented to help reduce social access to alcohol by minors:
- Awareness Campaign
- Peer-to-Peer Education through our Youth Action Teams
- Policy Change: Working to require alcohol seller/server training to off-premise retailers
- Educate adults on consequences of providing alcohol to minors through Sticker Shock
